Some services have set rates. Others need a quote based on the work involved. You’ll talk directly with me, Keith, and I’ll discuss pricing with you before doing additional work or purchasing equipment.
Help without an in-person visit
$75 for the first 30 minutes
$25 for each additional 15 minutes
Many common computer problems can be handled remotely. I can help troubleshoot your Windows computer without an in-person visit.
Starting at $100
I can get your new Windows computer or laptop ready for everyday use, including basic setup, Windows updates and configuration, software installation, and account setup.
Large data transfers, multiple printers, peripherals, or other special setup requirements may affect the final price.
You do not have to buy your computer from KPL Custom Computers to use this service.
Starting at $75
A computer’s problem is not always obvious when it arrives. I can diagnose the issue and discuss your options before proceeding with additional work.
$75 is a starting price, not a flat price for every repair. The final cost depends on the work required. Parts are additional when needed.

Every custom computer is different. I start with a conversation about what you want to use it for and what you would like to spend, then recommend hardware and put together a system that makes sense for you.
You do not need to know which processor, graphics card, motherboard, or other components you need before contacting me. Figuring that out is part of my job.

A networking job might mean fixing a connection or network printer, improving Wi-Fi coverage, or planning a wired network for a home or small office.
Small troubleshooting jobs may be priced based on time. Larger installations and network projects are quoted based on the work and equipment required.

If a job needs more time, equipment, parts, or work than we originally discussed, I’ll talk to you before moving forward.
I will not add work or equipment to your bill without discussing it with you first.
If you have a question about work I performed, please get in touch. I’m happy to talk it through with you. A new or unrelated computer problem may need a separate support session or service charge, which I’ll discuss with you first.
Prices shown are starting prices unless otherwise stated. Parts, equipment, software licenses, shipping, and other materials are additional when required. I’ll discuss any additional costs with you before proceeding.
